🚴‍♂️ Day 9 of my 300-mile challenge is in the books!

I woke up “early” for me on a weekend and decided I was going to brave the marine layer to get the my challenge in for the day.  My knees felt great after yesterday’s 22.85 mile ride.  My intention was to get about 16 miles in and call it a day.  After I got to the Arcata Bottoms, I just kept on going.  Needless to say, I accomplished a 24.42 mile ride!  I’m now 54.4% complete in my 300-mile journey!  When it’s all said and done, it’s probably a good thing I rode further than normal because I have feeling this next week at work is going to be busy!  We’re getting really close to classes beginning!  Each ride I feel a little bit stronger.  The investment in my Mokwheel Basalt 2 e-bike has been well worth it!

During the ride today, I was thinking those close to me - my family and friends who’ve fought courageous battles with cancer through my lifetime.  This ride, and every ride in this challenge is for you!  If you feel like donating to my American Cancer Society fundraiser this month, I appreciate it.  If you are unable, I completely understand - please continue cheering me on… it’s very much appreciated!

Until the next ride,

John
